”After the infamous dragon attack that occurred in the year 2 B.F.(Before Famine), tradesmen of the Grand Bazaar have banished their businesses and fled out of the walls of Istanbul. This cowardly act is now known as the first domino which has started the fall of Istanbul. Once the common folk noticed the absence of incoming shipments into the city, they gathered around the Grand Bazaar and wanted answers. They were angry about their taxes accumulating in the pockets of the rulers, but what they found out there was more alarming. Guards of the city struggled to calm them down. Initial anger turned into worry; worry turned into panic; panic caused more anger in some of the folk. Those with families to feed couldn’t contain their fury. Guards and government officials of the Grand Bazaar found themselves desperately fighting for their lives in disarray. Commonfolk out-powered them and set the Grand Bazaar on fire along with the corpses. From that day onwards, inside the walls of Istanbul, peace never showed itself. Those who got killed on duty became the symbol and rather a grim reminder of how the fall of Istanbul jumpstarted with a couple of innocent men getting punished for the sins of some greedy and cowardly businessmen.”
